stone the flamin crows...

arrrrrgggggghh....
i had a car accident yesterday... completely my fault and now my poor car is sitting out the front with out a front bumper.
Thankfully everyone involved is okay, that's the main thing.
My sister Amanda had her birthday shindig last night, she hired a bar service that came to her house and served cocktails and basic spirits for 5 hours, $50 a head... not bad!
i decided that considering the absolutely shitful day i had i was going to drown my sorrows, believe me when i tell you i did!
i really cant be bothered blogging now, all i want to do is go to bed and feel sorry for myself... sad i know lol.

Before i forget HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MUMMY!!!! i probably don't say it enough but i love you lots!! (even when we fight....which is fairly frequently.. lol)
couldn't have asked for a better mum.

I wear my sunglasses at night...

This morning was a lovely .8c when i let home for work at 6.... UM HELLO??? This is not normal!!! I know that Winter is meant to be cold but its only Autumn and its so cold. The heating/air-con at work has decided to play funny buggers with us, meaning during summer it was damn hot in the store and now when its freezing outside its no better inside. Today i actually wore 2 pairs of pants (with the underneath pair tucked into my socks... and who says in not attractive!) 2 singlets, a long sleeved top, my work shirt and then my work jumper.... and yep it was still kinda chilly, not to mention i somewhat resembled the Michelin man. I have no idea how people who live in climates where it snows survive, its just not natural to be so rugged up yet so cold.... JUST GREAT!!

This week has been interesting, my cousin who decided after a whole lot of shit went down 4 years ago and stopped talking to me is now talking to me again which is a huge deal!! (I'm not going to bore you with the details but i will say i got blamed for a heap of crap that i had nothing to with)
I was on Facebook as i am very regularly these days and i had a friends request from him. I was a little shocked actually, but i thought why not and accepted him. Then the other night he started to talk to me completely out of the blue which is fantastic.... I haven't been to a family function with that side of my family for about 3 or 4 years because of it which has completely sucked. I'm not the most family orientated girl on the planet but i really enjoy spending time with this part of my family so when i stopped being invited, i guess it hurt... a lot. However now that we are talking again it means i can spend more time with them which is great.

I have decided that enough is enough and I'm going on a health kick... that's right people no more smoking (well soon anyway) no more drinking and then 4am kebab or maccas stops, no more fatty food at all!! We have a treadmill set up in the front room of the house so i figure i might as well use it. I'm sick of being unfit and i figure while I'm still young i might as well do something about it!

So as computer illiterate as i am after 4hrs that's right 4 i finally worked out how to convert an mp3 file in to an m4r file... why you ask??
Well i recently got myself a very sexy white IPhone (which i absolutely love). You see you cant use mp3 files as your ringtone so i was stuck with a very dodgy sound as my tone. So i found out how to get myself a ringtone the only problem being i had no idea what i was doing. Well after a whole heap of swearing and cracking the shits to the point my mum yelled at me to get off the computer and go to my room (um I'm 24 not 10, nice try mum) i figured it out. After 4 hrs i have learnt how to convert a file in about 15 seconds!! GO ME!!!

I'm sure you have had enough of reading my post full of randomness....

8 hours of work till the weekend begins... what to do, what to do???

riding the bus...

i have been told i forgot to blog about one night in particular while we were in yarra (happy courts?) it was in fact the night i cooked mass amounts of spaghetti....
it all started just after everyone had eaten dinner. We all decided to crack out the cards and yet again play another drinking game..
RIDE THE BUS
-every player is handed 3 cards, its not a secret what cards you have
-the dealer then places a pyramid of 15 cards in front of him
somewhat like this (please excuse every ones keen fashion sense.. we were camping damn it!)

- the bottom row of 5 cards are worth one drink, the second row of 4 cards are worth two drinks, the third row is worth 3 drinks and so on....

-if your card is turned over whatever row it is on is how many drinks you allocate for someone to have (drink being a normal mouthful)
-once all the cards in the pyramid have been turned the person with the most cards left must ride the bus

-a new pyramid of 15 cards is placed out and the person riding the bus must pick cards for the dealer to turn over (one card from each row is selected to turn)

-you must make it all the way to the top without turning over a 10, jack, queen, king or ace

-say for instance you make it to the forth row and turn over a 10 you must have 4 drinks and all cards you have turned over are replaced and you start again
if you are unlucky this can take a while, poor courts got up to something like 60 drinks.... yes she was pretty drunk!
Val started off fine this is Val

then out of nowhere Val began slurring his word before long Val wasn't looking so good. Being drunk and playing drinking games isn't a great idea because everyone starts picking on you as our dear Val found out. Before long Val was throwing up all the spaghetti i cook... this kid doesn't chew his food might i add....

After a while we decided that we should probably give the kid some water and sober him up a little before trying to put him to bedyep this is how poor Val slept... hanging out of his tent. It was a little funny considering he had to play tennis finals the next day but in true Aussie style he got up and played like a trooper (however he didn't win)

Our dear Val is now famous.... every time someone writes themselves off and gets smashed beyond recognition we call it "doing a Val" I don't intend on ever "doing a Val" i think I'm getting just a little too old to be able to get up the next day and function properly.

So here's to Val and riding the bus!!

Im so 3008 your so 2000 and late...

WARNING: its a long one!!
Last weekend was Easter and as usually about 20 of my friends and i headed off to yarrawonga...
The car was packed and ready for when i finished work and by 4pm courts and i were on the road! We had the tunes pumping (at least we thought we were cool) and we drove and ate lollies for a good 2 hours before stopping in Benalla for dinner. We stopped at KFC like most years and waited for James to arrive, James is one of Courtney's friends from schoolies who lives is Benalla and every year on the way to Yarra we have lunch or dinner with him.
Now they say small things amuse small minds... well courts and mine must be pretty damn small. We played "there he is" for about 10 minutes while we waited for him to get there. Its a pretty easy game to play... everyone who walks, drives or rides past you say "there he is" I'm sure it doesn't sound like much fun but trust me Courtney and i found it hysterical, especially when courts said "there he is" and it was a really old grandma in the car with her super white old lady hair all up in a bun! oh i still chuckle when i think about it.
Finally James arrived.... now let me tell you this boy is hot... I'm an eyes and smile girl and this guy has both! So damn hot!
After an hour or so of catching up we decided we had better keep moving cos it was getting dark and i still had to set up my tent.
We travelled another 45 minutes and finally we arrived in Yarrawonga! I set up my tent had a couple of drinks and then decided to hit the hay cos i was fairly tired. The following day i slept in and when i finally decided to drag my arse out of my tent and have a shower just about everyone was over at the the tennis courts watching tennis. I eventually found my way over and watched big fella sail through to the finals.
At about 1.30pm court and i decided to head back to camp and make some very dangerous punch...

After only a couple of glasses things were well and truly getting messy.... then the drinking games beganAt one stage i spilt my entire drink in my lap, it looked like i had wet myself which everyone found pretty damn funny...
I woke up on the Saturday feeling like i had been hit by a bus.... Not only did my head hurt but i had slept on the floor of my tent and my back was so damn sore, the boys had played stacks on in my tent and popped my airbed and as drunk as i was when i went to bed i thought it would be fine to sleep on the floor... awesome... never again do i want to feel like that! There was a great big thunderstorm which was just brilliant... ESPECIALLY when my tent poles snapped and i had to evacuate! GOOD TIMES!!!
That night we got all dressed up and hit the ski club... I'm a little sketchy with everything that happened that night, all i know is i went out with $50 came home with $65 and was extremely drunk! JACKPOT!! lol! best squishies on earth

Sunday was another day filled with tennis, Courtney and Adam made it to the semi finals of the c grade doubles it was fairly sunny and i ended up so sun burnt. That night i had been asked to cook spaghetti for 15 people... this was no easy feat.
i had to make 4 batches of sauce and 4 packets of spaghetti all in a caravan kitchen with only one pot.... omg it took me forever but the end result was good and everyone seem to enjoy it, or at least that's what they told me! We had a cake and we all sung happy birthday to Emily who turned 21!!
birthday girl

Monday was all about tennis finals... nobody in our group who made the finals won but kudos to them for making it anyway! everybody apart from ken, Lilly, courts, fitzy and myself packed up and went home. Lilly cooked up a feast and we all sat around the fire had a couple of drinks while courts, Lilly and myself burnt things.... We discovered
-plastic forks and plates shrivel and melt
-stock cubes burn inside the foil packaging but the packaging doesn't
-chairs with sparklers go off like a frog in a sock!!!

The next morning we packed up our tents and hit the road for the lovely 3hr drive home... i honestly don't think i have ever been so excited to sleep in my bed...ahhhh so good.
On the way home courts and i came across this sign....
it was obviously telling us that in 200 metres you would come across this sign...but what exactly was this sign telling us?
After about 15 or 20 minutes of us looking around like idiots everytime we passed these signs, we realised (well courts did) that there was an opening in the shrubs and trees and you could cut across to the other side of the hwy... ha ha ha did we feel stupid or what! lol
Jumping onto something completely different, it was bought to my attention the other day that apparently many of our towns have weird names (thanks smelly)... i really had never thought about it but it would seem she was right
-tungamah
-Goorumbat
-Baddaginnie
-Mangalore
-Pukapunyal
yep they are some of the towns we pass along the way to good old Yarrawonga.
The only other exciting thing to happen in the last few days is went and got my lip pierced... i just couldn't help myself, its a little swollen at the moment and in the next couple of weeks i will change over the bar and ball and but a small diamante on it.... but i love it! Mum and dad weren't so keen but you get that... i cant wait to show Nonna and Nonno.. ha ha ha that's going to be funny!
Did i mention i think i might go to Bali for my birthday??

SAY WHAAAAT???

just a quick one to say i totally got my lip pierced... i will eventually put a photo up!

thats all i got for now.... oh and Yarrawonga was freakin awesome.... i will blog about this soon

Tuesday, April 7, 2009

remember the game....

Damn it i just lost!

Sooooo..... I'm so pumped for the weekend i just cant wait! Only 2 sleeps till i (with the help of courts) run an absolute muck in Yarrawonga!

At the moment I'm not sure what to do....
i really really want my lip pierced, i want the right side done and i want a tiny stud or diamante... BUT i just don't know if i should or not. Do i add to my ever growing list of piercings or do i just grow up and say enough is enough? I never understood people who said "piercings are addictive..." well you know what? They were right, once you have one you always want another, just like tattoos.
i have a problem with work, I'm not allowed to have any noticeable piercings but i figure i can just put a clear one in for that and if i get it now over the Easter long weekend the swelling will go down making it easier to get away with.
Then will it look decent? Only certain people can actually get it done and it look good... am i one of those people? Oh its so hard! If someone could make the decision for me that would be great... thanks.

I really should be packing for YARRAWONGA!!!!

arrrgh my feet hurt.....

Friday, April 3, 2009

get your funky on!!!

only 6 sleeps.... yep 6!!!
Every Easter all my friends and i head off to Yarrawonga... from the Thursday before Easter till the Tuesday after its all camping and drinking and going to the ski club for the best squishies ever! I'm so pumped!

Thursday, March 19, 2009

ouch..

i have got the sorest back at the moment...

i was sent home from work on Tuesday in tears because i was in so much pain. its my lower back and holy crap does it hurt to do just about everything, even tying my hair back has become a huge task.
I'm in an odd mood tonight, I'm excited because Rai is coming to play this weekend but at the same time my sister said something this afternoon that has really pissed me off.
For those of you who don't know i have 2 younger sisters Amanda who is 22 and Catherine who is 19.... the sister doing the pissing off today is Amanda. i really cant be bothered going into it but.... AARRGGGHHHH so damn annoying.

I just had to do a repair job on my cat... okay my cat is a stuffed toy that i have had since birth which makes it almost 25 years old, i know you all must be saying "UM your 24 get rid of it" but i cant! It has been a massive part of my life, i mean it has been everywhere with me, from every school camp and ever sleep over i have ever been on, to joining me twice in Canada. I found him today with one of his eyes hanging off!!!! WTF?? we needed a medic and we needed one quickly! Don't stress i totally fixed his eye and now I'm sure he will make a full recovery.
I'm not sure if you can see him properly but that there ever so strategically placed in my cleavage, a little worn out is my cat!!! AWWWW!!!

oh it feels like forever!

Last weekend was a long weekend making this week a short working week.....
Why the freakin hell does it feel like forever since last weekend then?

I'm completely drained, drained from work, drained from lack of sleep and drained from friends... don't get me wrong i love my friends and absolutely love spending time with them but lately it has been every night of the week PLUS the weekends, this with starting work at 6.30am is beginning to take its tole. I wake up at 5.30am for work and i get home by 3.30pm, then lately i have been having a nap because i physically cant keep my eyes open anymore. Then by the time 6pm rolls around I'm heading out the door for something, i get home usually by about 10.30pm and head straight to bed but cant sleep because of that damn nap i had earlier, i watch the minutes on my clock tick past before finally falling asleep around midnight, then the day after turns out to be exactly the same.
The last few weekends have consisted of continuous partying and getting drunk and stumbling through the door at 5am... and i love it.. i love going out and having a blast with my wonderful friends but i just cant do it anymore! I'm 24 years old yet i feel 64! This weekend will be low key.. it has to be for my sake. I know i can sit here and say all this but next week will be exactly the same and its my own fault.

Tonight i am off to the pub (NO DRINKING) for dinner with my family and some cousins that i just don't see enough. Before Danielle and family came from Canada to visit us Aussies in 2006 it had been 5 years since i had seen them, then the next time i saw them was when Dennis and Paula came here in late 2007 so we vowed never to let it be so long between catch ups, considering we live in the same damn country only 30 minutes from each other it was a little stupid. We always have the most awesome time together.

The N.A.B cup final is on tonight and the mighty magpies are playing the cats..
Collingwood deserve to win it (just a little bias) and I'm praying we do.
I cant wait for the footy season to start! No more pre season. its been 18 long years since my beloved magpies won a premiership so lets hope that sacred day in September belongs to collingwood. I intend to go to a fair amount of footy this year, actually i have my sights set on a fair amount of sport watching in general.... sometimes i think i was meant to be a boy!

On a brighter note the bushfires are finally out... it been more then a month of constant hell for some people, the whole country has felt it. $230 million has been donated from people and businesses across Australia, even PINK donated $250,000... she rocks! The death toll is well over 200 people and more then 700 homes were lost but there is light at the end of the tunnel now that people can start thinking about rebuilding their homes and their lives, i know its not as easy as i just made it sound but I'm sure you all know what i mean.
Tomorrow at the M.C.G they are holding a benefit concert with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Kings Of Leon, Jack Johnson and many more!

before i go just a quick congrats to Damien and Emily on the birth of their beautiful, healthy bubs Madesyn Lee Clow!!

go the pies!!

Next weekend lets hope im off to the finals!

p.s Shane O'bree number 11 for collingwood.. you rock my jocks!

p.p.s Simon "hits a target" Prestigiacomo was out of this world...

Hypothetically speaking....

Argh....
i have no desire to blog but have been told i better or else.
Or else what you may ask.... i actually have no idea but i figure what the heck.
I am so tired, actually I'm always tired since i started my new hours at work. I love getting out of work by 3pm but who decided it was okay to be getting up at 5.30am!! it should be illegal!
anyway i wont bore you with that....
Let me see, what have a done since Feb 24th?

Okay last Friday my Friend Rai (girl just in case you were all wondering) who live is Portland which is a very long and boring 4 hr drive away, came to hang out with me... Very exciting!
She finally made it to Melbourne by about midnight so we pretty much went to bed.
Saturday we got up and went to visit her sister Jhess who we were going to see in a play later Saturday night. As we were leaving i noticed a poo.. yep a poo on there front step. When i questioned Jhess she said it just turned up there but they were unsure if it was real or not so they had just left it... um guys this is not sanitary!!! So being the detective that i am i had to determine.. REAL POO? or FAKE POO? i found some cardboard and scraped it on to it then i may or may not have had a sniff... Don't stress it was totally fake.

We headed home from Jhess' place back to my house so we could have a quick nap then get ready to PARTAY!!
Tara came over and we did the girly thing, change outfits 4 times then straighten our hair and do our make up. Surprisingly for 3 girls it actually didn't take all that long to get ready. The play started at about 8pm and by 10.30pm we were on our way out!
We lined up to get into Bridies for an hour... you never have to line up so this was a little weird.
it was about 12.30am by the time we got in so we figured, considering the place closed at 3am and all our friends had a head start we should probably go straight for the hard stuff so we didn't have to play catch up all night. Well i guess it worked because by the time 3am came we were all pretty tipsy.
No one wanted to go home so once again we all decided to head to a bar called barrys. This place is never the one you want to be caught at, at the beginning of the night because it is so seedy, but by the end of the night you are more then happy to go because it shuts at 5am.
We found some of Rais friend from Portland, had a bit of a boogie on the dance floor, then realised that we were the only 2 who got in. The bouncers refused entry to the rest of the guys.
AWESOME! bouncers tend to do this a lot these days, especially if your a group of guys. it was about 4.30am so we decided what they hey lets just go. we got a cab home and as soon as my head it the pillow i was out like a light. Rai left on Tuesday but will be back down in a couple of weeks!! YAY!!! I have decided that this weekend even though it is a long weekend and it is very unaustralian to not drink ion a long weekend im going to have to give it a miss! My liver is screaming for a week off!

Over the course of the weekend i discovered that i cant to suprised eyes.....
what exactly are suprised eyes you ask

These are suprised eyes!! no matter how had i try my eyes refuse to look suprised! apparently if I'm genuinely suprised then its fine i can do them, but if i want to "pretend" to be suprised they just wont co-operate.
Go and look at yourself in the mirror and see if you can do it... and if you can YOU SUCK!!! can someone please teach me?

Tomorrow night I'm off to the footy! collingwood V essendon!! GO THE MIGHTY MAGPIES!!!!!!
i cant wait for collingwood to kick essendons arse!!!!

dirty little secret

All American Rejects were AMAZING!!!!

Tara and i got to our seat at about 8pm.... the seats were awesome! Row A... awesome!
We talked for a little about what people were wearing and why they shouldn't be. ( you see Tara and i are perfect so we feel its okay to pass judgement on others HA HA) And why some people just didn't feel the need to brush their hair! Before we knew it half an hour passed and the lights dimmed and out on stage were AAR... i swear i stopped breathing! They were great, they played all there best songs and i think i fell in love with the lead vocalist Tyson Ritter.. like seriously in love! I didn't get too many pics, apart from my camera being so damn crap i was too busy hyperventilating.

They only played for about 45 minutes but it was totally worth it!
Fall Out Boy came on about half an hour later. In all honestly they too were pretty damn good, i really wasn't expecting them to be as good as they were.
my sister Catherine had bought tickets to see them, you see FOB are her favourite and she has crap seats, so i msged her telling her if she came to door 6 she could take mine and Taras seats because we were leaving.... I KNOW who leaves a free concert early? But Catherine was devastated i had better seats and i got to see AAR so i figured it was only fair.

The weekend came and went way too fast! Friday night We all headed out for Guys birthday... Messy.. that's the only way i can describe the night! i will eventually upload pics but right now i cant be bothered. Tara and i did a few shots and had a couple of jager bombs before settling on something a little less stomach churning... VODKA! Now before Friday night i never realised just how sneaky vodka is... one second your sitting there sipping on a refreshing vodka sunrise when BANG the 6 previous sunrises sneak up and smack you in the face.... before you know it your stumbling around wondering just how your going to get your drunken sorry arse home!
We decided to head home and at about 5.30am we thought hey lets sleep here... we were in fact in one of our friends caravan.... on there front lawn, we really are classy! We thought it was a great idea at the time, i mean who doesn't want to pretend they are camping... right? At about 8.30am that same damn morning Tara decided she is not feeling too well and needed to be sick... so We drive back to my place where she proceeds to tell me how she is dying, the only problem being that i just didn't care!!! i was so tired i just wanted sleep! love you tara!!

I spent most of Saturday feeling sorry for myself and sleeping. Saturday night i got ready to head out for another birthday, however this time i decided to drive because in my old age i just cant do two huge nights in a row like i used to! It was a pretty low key night which is exactly what i wanted and by 3am i was in bed.

Sunday i went along with Ruth to the bushfire fundraiser down at the local footy club. They were auctioning off all sorts or memorabilia with all proceeds going to the bushfire appeal... you see the fires are still burning and even though we have had some cooler weather its just not helping. With more warm weather forecast they just don't know when they will be able to get things under control. They ended up raising about $67,000 which isn't too bad for a local footy club. I caught up with a couple of people i hadn't seen in years and i got to listen to good music with great company so over all it was a very enjoyable day.

I'm pretty sure that's about all i did on the weekend... they need to make weekends longer!
2 days just isn't long enough!
this weekend Rai is coming down from Portland so i get to run a muck all over again! WOOT WOOT!!!

HOPE IT GIVES YOU HELL!!!!

holy crapola!!!

So my favourite band at the moment is All American Rejects.... now i have been in love with these guys for the last 7 years since their first album came out. so I'm sure you can understand just how upset i was when i found out they were opening for fall out boy and couldn't afford to go cos i found out so last minute... absolutely devastated!!

WELL imagine my shocked face when this happened...

**ring ring**

ME: Hello?

DAD: Hey leash do you like fall out boy?

ME: yeah they are okay, why?

DAD: what if i told you i have 2 free tickets to their concert tonight....

i was absolutely hysterical. Seriously, like screaming a child in the supermarket whose mother wont buy them a chuppa chup!!!

I had planned on being in bed early tonight cos i start work so early BUT this will be so worth the tiredness tomorrow!!

Tara just happened to be at my place when all this went down so the lucky little devil is coming with me!!!!!
tell you all about how amazing they were tomorrow!!!!
AAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH IM SO EXCITED!!!!

sickly sickness

Today i feel like arse.... i feel soooo damn sick.
Recently my hours at work have changed and i now start work at 6.30am every morning which don't get me wrong is great, i finish work at 2pm twice a week and 3pm the other three days. HOWEVER getting my body to adjust to getting up at 5.30am is taking a little longer then i expected, especially when almost every night of the week you have plans. This means bed usually doesn't happen till after 11pm, and then who ever falls asleep straight away? You have to wind down. This is what i think is my problem... lack of sleep.
It would seem this lack of sleep has finally caught up with me, i cant remember ever being so damn tired, not to mention that i think i have caught some sort of bug... this morning at work i almost had to use the rubbish bin as a bucket! So the rest of today has consisted of me feeling sorry for myself and sleep. I better get better by the weekend, i have a huge one coming up and really don't want to miss out....

I'm going back to bed..
all sympathy would be greatly appreciated!

T to the OLMIE!!

Early Saturday morning... i mean like 5.30 early i was forced to get up to get ready to head off to Tolmie for the weekend. We were going up there for the Tolmie sports day and because Allies boyfriends parents own the local pub up there. The trip to Tolmie takes about 2 and a bit hours and believe me its a boring drive, at least i think it was, considering i slept a most of the drive i really cant be too sure. Mum was a little worried about Allie and i heading up there because of the bushfires. Tolmie was under no threat from the fires, but we did have to travel through a couple of towns that have been on evacuation alert. We travelled along the highway and drove through where the fire had jumped the road.... everything was black. By the time we made it to Yea the smoke was really thick. The photo below was taken just past Yea, It was so smokey that the sun looked more like a street light.

I have never been to Tolmie before and was a little surprised when we got there and Allie said "So this is Tolmie" my jaw dropped... down the main street was a general store no bigger then my living room and a pub! I guess i should have realised just how small the town would be when allie told me that i would have no mobile phone reception.... EXCUSE ME??? How was i going to survive?

We headed off to the sports ground to have a look around, All the roads except the main street were dirt ones. Ha ha, i really was in the bush. Now you see i have been a city slicker all my life so this was a little new for me. Don't get me wrong i love to go camping and have a good time, however i also like to paint my nails, i straighten my hair just about everyday and most of the time i don't leave the house without at least mascara on! So for these lovely country people i was a prime target for them to hang shit on! lol!

We walked around the sports ground for a little while and sat down to watch the wood chopping, oh how i was impressed!! Not only did this guy chop the freakin crap out of this log, but damn he was hot!!! i think i spent most of the day drooling over him.

We ran into so people Allie knew so in between chatting i found a plaster fun house... as if i could walk past and not paint something!! It took me about 10 minutes to pick my lovely little turtle and about 2 minutes to decided painting was not as fun as i remembered.

They also had this thing called "Bash the rat" i so wanted to have a go but everyone doing it was 10 and under. I i thought i better save myself the embarrassment and not have a go.
This guy rolled a potato down a hole on a box and when the potato comes out the bottom you have to go nuts and smash the crap out of that damn potato with a plastic pipe. Looked like so much fun!!!

We found a table under an umbrella so we sat there to get out of the sun for a little while. We were minding our own business when a lady decided she was hot and started to take her jumper off.. the next thing i know her t-shirt almost comes off with her jumper and her BOOBS that's right BOOBS are out and about for everyone to see!!! She quickly pulled down her t-shirt and said and i quote "You win some you lose some" AH YEAH I KNOW WHAT YOU LOST...... YOUR BRA!!!! Firstly why wasn't she wearing a bra and secondly why wasn't she embarrassed?

We hung around to watch Matt in the three man race. The race consists of 3 parts, wood chopping, running and the horse riding.
First up The wood chopper has to chop as fast as he can through his log, then when he is through he must tag the runner The runner then runs over and collects his 27kg bad of chaff, picks it up, and runs 100m with it. He then throws it over the back of a small truck, jumps over the truck, picks up the bag and then runs and tags the horseman. The horseman then rides down through the creek, then back up over all the jumps, picks up a flag, jumps a couple more jumps then cross the finish line. ( i hope that makes sense) Matty and his team won it which was pretty damn cool of you ask me.

Once the three man race finished we headed off to the pub. I had the greatest time, everyone was so friendly. The locals are awesome and by about midnight everyone was somewhat drunk... all except Allie and I that is.
After the pub we went off to the dance (yep they had a dance going on) to see if Rhys and Ryan needed a lift home.... I'm so glad that we did because i have never laughed so hard in all my life. I stood at the door laughing as everyone did these lame barn dances. It was hysterical! Even more so because most of the guys were drunk and could barely stand up properly let alone dance.
It must have been about 12.30am before we decided to leave and head home where we all got comfy and settled in to watch American Pie. No matter how many times you watch that movie it just never stops being funny!

Ryan was the first to pike it then about an hour later it was Allies turn. Rhys and i decided to have a competition, the first to fall asleep was a loser. It was probably about 3am before i decided i just couldn't stay awake anymore, (i mean i had been up for a while) so i headed off to bed... i actually thought i had won till i started walking up the stairs and Rhys calls out from the couch "eat shit loser" DAMN IT!!!! i tried so hard!
We were up again at about 9 this morning ready for the drive home which wasn't too bad.... i mean i slept most of it again anyway.
I had a great weekend and enjoyed everybit of it i just can't believe that i have to go to work tomorrow and do it all over again!!
I can honestly say i cant wait for the next time i head off to Tolmie!!

I can't explain how this makes me feel....

The fires are still burning, however the mild weather is giving firefighters a chance to get them under control. The death toll has almost reached 200 people.
i have added some pics that i got from the net to show you just how bad things are...

This is what over 5000 Aussies will find when they return home

This pic is from the a satellite... the red dots are fires and I'm sure you can see all the smoke

devastation, it looks like a someone dropped a bomb

the sky above the fires

many people didn't see the flames coming, all they saw was this

Flames were 50 metres high

this one speaks for itself
Tonight Amanda, courts and i went to up to Wallan to see if there was anything we could do to help out, whether it be boxing up food or sorting through clothes. They told us that the next few nights they really weren't going to be doing much but if we could come back on the weekend there would be plenty to do. The lady we spoke to then thanked us for offering to help and told us that is was greatly appreciated.
In the last 5 days Aussies have dug deep and so far raised $71 million to help rebuild houses and communities, i can honestly say i have never been more proud to be Australian!!
After leaving Wallan we decided to take a drive so see the damaged caused first hand.
We drove to Wondong and couldn't believe our eyes when we saw a house standing in the middle of a charred block of land... everything around it was black but the house was still standing with no signs of damage, one of the lucky ones.
The air outside smells like fire and the moon is glowing a strange orange colour. I find it strange that every morning i wake up and go to work like nothing is wrong yet so many are suffering... it just really sucks.
i have to start work at 6:30am i should probably get some sleep.
Hopefully after the weekend i will have something a little brighter to blog about... i hope.
