Tara and i got to our seat at about 8pm.... the seats were awesome! Row A... awesome!
We talked for a little about what people were wearing and why they shouldn't be. ( you see Tara and i are perfect so we feel its okay to pass judgement on others HA HA) And why some people just didn't feel the need to brush their hair! Before we knew it half an hour passed and the lights dimmed and out on stage were AAR... i swear i stopped breathing! They were great, they played all there best songs and i think i fell in love with the lead vocalist Tyson Ritter.. like seriously in love! I didn't get too many pics, apart from my camera being so damn crap i was too busy hyperventilating.

They only played for about 45 minutes but it was totally worth it!
Fall Out Boy came on about half an hour later. In all honestly they too were pretty damn good, i really wasn't expecting them to be as good as they were.
my sister Catherine had bought tickets to see them, you see FOB are her favourite and she has crap seats, so i msged her telling her if she came to door 6 she could take mine and Taras seats because we were leaving.... I KNOW who leaves a free concert early? But Catherine was devastated i had better seats and i got to see AAR so i figured it was only fair.

The weekend came and went way too fast! Friday night We all headed out for Guys birthday... Messy.. that's the only way i can describe the night! i will eventually upload pics but right now i cant be bothered. Tara and i did a few shots and had a couple of jager bombs before settling on something a little less stomach churning... VODKA! Now before Friday night i never realised just how sneaky vodka is... one second your sitting there sipping on a refreshing vodka sunrise when BANG the 6 previous sunrises sneak up and smack you in the face.... before you know it your stumbling around wondering just how your going to get your drunken sorry arse home!
We decided to head home and at about 5.30am we thought hey lets sleep here... we were in fact in one of our friends caravan.... on there front lawn, we really are classy! We thought it was a great idea at the time, i mean who doesn't want to pretend they are camping... right? At about 8.30am that same damn morning Tara decided she is not feeling too well and needed to be sick... so We drive back to my place where she proceeds to tell me how she is dying, the only problem being that i just didn't care!!! i was so tired i just wanted sleep! love you tara!!
I spent most of Saturday feeling sorry for myself and sleeping. Saturday night i got ready to head out for another birthday, however this time i decided to drive because in my old age i just cant do two huge nights in a row like i used to! It was a pretty low key night which is exactly what i wanted and by 3am i was in bed.
Sunday i went along with Ruth to the bushfire fundraiser down at the local footy club. They were auctioning off all sorts or memorabilia with all proceeds going to the bushfire appeal... you see the fires are still burning and even though we have had some cooler weather its just not helping. With more warm weather forecast they just don't know when they will be able to get things under control. They ended up raising about $67,000 which isn't too bad for a local footy club. I caught up with a couple of people i hadn't seen in years and i got to listen to good music with great company so over all it was a very enjoyable day.
I'm pretty sure that's about all i did on the weekend... they need to make weekends longer!
2 days just isn't long enough!
this weekend Rai is coming down from Portland so i get to run a muck all over again! WOOT WOOT!!!
